The Windsor Service Alliance has established partnerships with many clubs, social groups, businesses and other non-profits, including Sonoma Family Meal, SoupHeart, World Central Kitchen, Salvation Army, the Windsor Grange, the Lions Club, the American Legion, Redwood Empire Food Bank, SF/Marin Food Bank, Amy’s Kitchen, Redwood Gospel Mission, Catholic Charities, Boy Scouts of America, many churches, local farmers and ranchers, local grocery stores and many restaurants.
Each of these businesses and organizations has collaborated with WSA by providing food, funding, volunteers, and service projects to help support our mission.
We have amazing relationships with many teachers and administrators at Windsor High, Windsor Middle, and Windsor Elementary Schools. 1/3 of our Volunteer workforce are students doing their Community Service Hours. It is a constant inspiration to have so many young people engaged in helping others. WSA Pantry also has a program that gives Sophomores at WHS their first part-time job, these young people train student Volunteers, shift, sort and bag food, do database entry and basically amaze us with their drive and energy. Our WHS Paid Intern Program provides our local young adults with their first job experience and a valuable job reference, building exceptional future leaders who care.
